“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you.
What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
– Jane Goodall
I laugh like a seal. I love flowers, travel, farmers’ markets, stationary, gift giving, shopping, handmade anything and exercise. I enjoy prank calling my friends in obscure accents. I try to juggle a lot because I love a lot. I especially adore my family. I try to be the best mom I can be – even when being good means my kids getting 17 tardies (I swear it was more like 10) in a school year. Through loving my family somehow I have become a self-confessed environmental health fanatic. Say what? I know. It’s not what I dreamed up for myself when I sat coloring at my kitchen table as a little girl. But once you know some things, you can’t un-know them. And somehow I have come to know a lot about our food, chemicals and their effects on our health, our water system… and on and on. Don’t google this stuff. You’ll be scared.
